Questions people ask before ordering

Does it bounce when I run?
Cinch the waist belt first, then the shoulders. Loaded properly the rig sits against the sternum and stays put on a jog or a scramble. It's built for hiking, walking and moving fast on foot rather than for marathon pace.

Can I wear it over a jacket?
Yes — the webbing has enough travel to go from a t-shirt to a puffy without adjusting anything permanently.

Are the flag patches included?
No. The hook-and-loop panel is there for your own patches — the ones in the photos show what the panel looks like in use.

How do I clean the bladder?
The slide-top opens the full width, so your hand goes right in. Warm water and a little dish soap, rinse well, then dry it open. Freezing it between trips keeps it fresh if you use it seasonally.

Will the bladder leak in my pack?
The slide seal locks across the top and the tube disconnects at a quick-release. Push the air out before you close it and it stays sealed.

Is it heavy empty?
No — the weight you feel is the water. Empty, it's light enough to forget you're wearing it.
